is officially over but wow, what a weekend.
I spent the entire weekend at the SF International Chocolate Salon at Fort Mason, getting paid to basically make sure the gaps were filled in on the first ever chocolate extravaganza show (ie- help out presenters with the technology in their presentations, direct traffic flow of eager chocoholics, relay messages to the head honchoes, etc). It was an amazing two days and I was really glad to be a part of it. The folks putting it on were really down-to-earth and super friendly. I met great people and managed to get the word out about my organization. I hope to be a part of it again next year. Oh yeah, did I mentioned that I got to eat my heart’s desire of really good chocolate and take home a bunch more?
I also just got home from an impromptu midnite dinner session with my roomate, her husband and two homies. My roomate’s hubby made some yummy fried chicken from freshly prepapred bread crumbs and halal chicken. We washed it down with some gingerale and Coke. Tomorrow we all made a pact to do at least three miles around Lake Merritt. After all the chocolate I had consumed this past weekend… hehe.
I visited Sweetie Pie/Jellybean/Beautiful & parents in the hospital. Sweetie Pie/Jellybean/Beautiful is doing good and she’s now 6lbs, 2oz. Way to go girl!! I am falling in love with her more each day I see her.

- yay baby things (ie-animals & humans).
- yay hugs from folks you’ve only known a few hours but shared tons of smiles and laughs over good wine.
